I use ChatGPT AI as a research assistant and editor for my blog. While I handle the snarky commentary, the AI takes care of providing references. This approach helps me save time. Over the years, I’ve read numerous books to deepen my understanding of the topics I critique—including all the works listed here—though I didn’t take detailed notes while reading. AI enables me to pull up relevant references without having to revisit these books in their entirety to locate specific pages or scripture citations. As a senior with limited time left on this planet, this tool has been invaluable.
One interesting outcome of working with ChatGPT is that, after countless conversations fleshing out ideas for my stories, it has started to reflect my snarky tone. Because of this, I sometimes find it unnecessary to rewrite its responses in my own words. To maintain transparency, I’ll label any unedited AI-generated content I post with a link to this disclaimer.
Ah, if only the scripture writers had been so thoughtful!
